The Rijeka Red Cross City Society once again brought together well-known names and thus continued the humanitarian project "Today for You", which once again emphasized the very important help to those in need and the importance of raising public awareness of the need for humanitarian action.
This time, wine experts arrived at the Red Cross kitchen in Rijeka, rolled up their sleeves, and in a great mood, got involved in cooking and preparing meals for those in need. Let's remember that this kitchen prepares up to 1,500 meals a day for the homeless, soup kitchen users, and all those who need help.
The following people were involved in the cooking and preparation of the meal: the president of the Kvarner Wines Association and the representative of the Gospoja Winery, Anton Brusić, and the representatives of the wineries - Kapić Wines Toni Babić, Mandić Wines Darko Mandić, Plovanić Wines Ivan Rubeš, Plovanić Wines Erik Stanić and Šipun Winery Ivica Dobrinčić. They were joined by Kvarner Wines director, Kvarner Wines Brand Ambassador, Kvarner European Gastronomy Region Project Ambassador, Assoc. Ph.D. Žarko Stilin, Kvarner Wines Brand Ambassador, Kvarner European Gastronomy Project Ambassador, sommelier Josip Orišković, Kvarner Wines Brand Ambassador, Kvarner European Gastronomy Project Ambassador, sommelier Monika Neral, Kvarner Wines Brand Ambassador, Kvarner European Gastronomy Project Ambassador, sommelier Lucija Matijević and Kvarner Wines Brand Ambassador, Kvarner European Gastronomy Project Ambassador, enogastro influencer Časlav Matijević.
Everyone was happy to join the project, and the president of the Kvarner Wines Association Anton Brusić thanked the GDCK Rijeka for the invitation and for the care it provides to those in need, and stated: "We are extremely pleased that the Kvarner Wines Association has become an active participant in the social life of the PGŽ. This was also demonstrated in this humanitarian action. Thank you to the Red Cross for the invitation and we will always respond to such commendable projects.".
The winemakers delighted the hosts with their positive energy, and together they once again accomplished a good deed. Everyone is proud of them.
