Kašetica Primorsko-Goranska is a project of the Center for Agriculture and Rural Development PGŽ designed with the aim of promoting and developing indigenous products.
It is a brand that brings together producers of autochthonous products of our green-blue county and the exhibition and sales center of autochthonous products located in the Primorska house at the entrance to Rijeka's Old Town. It is a place for the exchange of ideas and knowledge and a gathering center for all producers, but also for creative advances by related associations, institutions and citizens of the county that are based on products that promote ecological production, actively promoting the ideas of developing ecological awareness and sustainable tourism through their work.
Kašetica brings together more than 150 different producers, enabling them to promote and appear on the market together through various activities. In addition to organizing, co-organizing and participating in numerous fairs and events, Kašetica hosts and organizes various workshops, education, promotions and presentations. Although the primary goal of this project is promotion, Kašetica also enables the sale of indigenous products without any compensation for producers. On the shelves of Kašetica, in addition to wines from Kvarner winemakers, you can find a variety of top-quality products from the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, such as cheeses, cured meats, olive oils, honeys, brandies, liqueurs, handicrafts, juices, jams and various other delicacies.
One of the goals of Kašetica is to, through education of the public and producers, develop awareness of the benefits that indigenous products bring to tourism and thereby create a stimulating climate for the development of the entire economy in this region.
