The Buretić Bregi company has been operating in Bregi on the slopes of Učka since 2003, continuing the tradition of the Buretić family from Boljun in Istria, which has been growing and producing domestic agricultural and livestock products, both meat and milk, for over 100 years. The small family business today employs 12 employees who produce indigenous products with love and knowledge according to traditional recipes, but also create new, original derivatives of them.
The recipes are therefore based on tradition and perfected only with our own spice blends in order to maintain their original quality and recognisability. Our products are, by type, mostly durable or semi-durable, such as traditional Istrian sausage for cooking or baking, which is made entirely without additives, using only traditional spices. Our principle is very clear: simple combinations with the highest quality raw materials. Each ingredient in our products has its own origin, we know where it comes from and how it was created. We are happy to cooperate with excellent breeders from Istria, the Zagreb and Slavonia area, and the border area of Slovenia, who have discipline and cleanliness when keeping and feeding animals, which results in safe and tasty food.
We are particularly proud of our collaboration with the Agricultural Cooperative on the island of Cres, with whom we have developed a range of several products made from Cres lamb and mutton. Our efforts in producing the highest quality final product have been recognized by our end users, and the market's reaction is a major driving force for our further progress. We are extremely proud that our region's tourism leaders, high-ranking restaurants and hotel groups have recognized our quality and decided to include it in their assortment. However, our products can, of course, also be purchased in retail stores in several retail chains in Croatia.
